Summary
We all know that pink medication (amoxicillin) we all hated when we were younger. Some would have rather had strep throat than drink the medication. Now-a-days we have bubble gum flavor, which is way better!
In this week's podcast, we dive into the signs and symptoms of group A Streptococcus. Then we will talk about the four-point scoring system called the Centor Criteria and how it can help with your diagnosis of your patient. Finally, we go over possible treatment options like amoxicillin and others.
Join Dr. Niket Sonpal as he connects Babe Ruth and strep throat.
