So identity politics is a framework that turns our morals around and says that our moral authority or decision-making or discernment flows not from character or the nature of the act itself, but from the identity of the actore. It's what they call the horseshoe, you know, where the far left and the far right

get so far away from the center that they sort of bend back towards each other.

You can't help but notice a correlation between Christian evangelization, Christian conversion,

and a decline, and even eventually abolition of the practice of slavery.

At Christmas, God gave the world a gift, the greatest gift.

During the Epiphany season, we see that gift unwrapped.

For decades and decades, the Hyde Amendment that bans federal funding for abortion enjoyed bipartisan

support.

It was really a political no-brainer in budget after budget after budget all the

way up until well the end of the Obama administration and then into the Trump administration.

It was threatened under the Biden administration and now it needs a little shoring up.

And there's an opportunity to do it. Those negotiations

over the Obamacare provisions might help revive the Hyde Amendment. Greetings and welcome to
