So today I'm going to lean into part two of what I began last week even though I didn't know it was going to be a part two.

Because one of the things I really wanted to step into was that so many people cross that line of faith and open up their lives to God and really most of us when we open our lives to faith have no idea what we're doing.

We don't have a lot of background, a whole lot of information.

I know when I opened up my life to Jesus Christ,

I had never seen a Bible in my entire life. I didn't know what I was stepping into. I just knew I needed something more than what I had.

And what happens is you have this incredible euphoric moment,

this moment that almost just transcends everything,

and you think everything's going to change.

So you go, God, I'm here, I'm all yours, Jesus, I'm giving you my whole life, and then the next morning you wake up and it's still you.

It's still your life. Everything didn't change. You have the same job, you have the same boyfriend, you have nothing changed that you needed to change.

And so you have the same problems, you have the same momentum from all your past choices.

So last week we talked about how Jesus did not come to give us a new religion,

he did not come to give us new beliefs, he came to give us a new life.
