I'm David Poyser, a journalist, and welcome to the 14th episode of Pezpod,

the Insiders Guide to the Pez Network made for European Pez.

Today we're in the heart of the European Union, in Brussels, which has its own Pez, called

Actyris.

Actyris is a leading light in diversity, both as an employer.

You can see Actyris proudly represented in the annual Brussels Gay Pride March.

And while, like many pairs, women form the backbone of Actyris employees, in Actyris

61% of managers are women as well.

Over half of Actyrius employers have origins outside Belgium and over half of them are from outside the EU.

Actyrius is very welcoming to people with disabilities. I could carry on. Like most pairs, Actyris also seeks to find jobs for people from diverse backgrounds.

And in Brussels, as in so many other cities,

more than three quarters of Brussels job seekers

come from outside Belgium.

Together with employers,

Actoris has created diversity plans

that have helped Actyrius find jobs

for a wider pool of job seekers.

One employer, B NY Mellon, the well-known international bank,

has had a particularly successful relationship with Actris for some years now. Like

Acty Réthiris, BNY Mellon is a successful diversity champion and the partnership with BNY Mellon

has helped the bank achieve its diversity goals. So now both Ecteris and BNY Mellon has helped the bank achieve its diversity goals.

So now both Ecteus and BNY Mellon are keen to encourage other Pez across Europe to replicate this successful partnership.
