Jeremiah chapter 16 verses 19 and 20 oh lord my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in the day of trouble.

To you shall all the nations come from the ends of the earth and say,

Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies. of the himself, God's, such are not God's.

See the contrast here, and the declaration of faith and the urgency of mission all in these two short verses as Jeremiah looks to

God and says oh Lord I love these descriptors these phrases my strength and my

stronghold my refuge in the day of trouble. I want to just encourage you today.

Look to God as your strength.

Amidst whatever you are walking through in your life, lift your eyes to heaven and see that

God is your strength and your stronghold. He's the one who surrounds you, who protects you, who is

committed to providing for you.

And he is your refuge in the day of trouble.

When you walk through trial with temptation,

God is a refuge for you, around you.

He is your strength and your stronghold, your refuge in the day of trouble.

That alone would be enough for us to just praise God and pray for these things in our lives.
