And so I think over time just interests have drifted and shifted.

And I think one of the most important things that was part of my early phase was trying to really

understand cult dynamics, what people were calling cult dynamics or undue influence.

And so trying to examine my own journey through that lens was an important dimension

of my journey, but that gave me a sensitivity to when I see dogmatic ideology driving a particular

issue. And so I think I started to see those sort of features show up in other more non-religious

culturally-relevant aspects of our modern discourse.

And so I started to look into that a little bit more.

And I found there were some important and significant things to say about, you know, subjects beyond religion.
