Hello, welcome to the show. It is Brian, of course. I'm here all the time and my co-hosts this week is somebody I haven't done audio with in like at least a year.

Maybe, maybe longer actually the last time it might be longer. Yeah, it's Matt Chrisman. He's here with me. I've missed him.

The last time we did something was the Woodstock 99 episode of Chappell. Oh, that's right. Yes. You know, there's another Woodstock 99 documentary. I watched it. I watched that one. Yeah, it bugs me to watch these now. I think I know how people feel.

That were part of historic events. Seeing it described later on, you know, because it feels so weird to watch these these fucking things and being like, oh, it was a very dark vibe. It felt like it's all these people talking about like the dark vibes like it was like.

Like pre 9 11 9 11 or so. And when I watch it, I'm like, that's not nobody. Nobody thought that like nobody that was there was like, this is a foot. This is really satanic. I think this is really dark with you aren't you aren't feeling that when you were there.

Fuck, I didn't know about any of the I mean, you know, I didn't I'm like not a guy that goes out of my way to like hang out with people so like I basically only talk to the guys I came with. Right. I don't remember having a conversation with anybody else. So maybe not, but I also felt like, you know, I've said this before. The only thing I saw that made me feel fucking insane was the people playing in.

Shit on the shit and piss on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that seems more fun. Yeah, it's so fucking weird, man, because it had to smell and that's that's stuck with me. Yeah, that's that would stop people to be like, oh, no, not going to not going to do this. This smells like shit.

I'll tell you, man, I was I was watching these these women dancing in the mud and like rubbing it they were covered head to toe in mud.

And like a foot away from them two guys were pissing in the same mud. And it was just like, what are you people fucking doing? This is shit everybody. That's why I left before the riot.

Yeah, because it smelled back there and it fucking sucked. Yeah, no, thank you. Yeah, I mean, that was so early on in festivals, like I've gone to festivals since then and and and you know innovation has made them.

I mean more annoying because you can't use cash at a lot of them. So you put on really. Yeah, you put on a wristband and you just go up and you put the wristband hooked up to your bank card.

And you just go up and like put it on like a QR code or whatever like that and like you just spend so much more money.

Oh, yeah, sure. Yeah, that's the idea. Yeah, I spent I think I went to I went to Austin city limits in like 2019.

And you know, my daughter had a wristband. My wife had a wristband and I had a wristband. And when we got out on the other end, I definitely spent more than $500 on food. That we matchy.

It was rough. So how are you doing, man? How's everything going? I'm good. I'm good.

I'm good to talk to you again. I got some crazy. So some things we've been focusing on. I'd been focusing on for the past year or two is this guy Jim is Jim Brewer.

I don't know if you. Oh, I'm aware the good boy. Yeah. And but the other thing I've the other person I've been watching is JP Sears. Do you know him?

That guy. No, I'm not familiar. So JP Sears started out as a guy that was doing like fake wellness videos to make fun of like, you know, to make fun of the like the like wellness people.

Like he would, I don't know. He would make something talking about the healing properties of avocados. Right. Just to make fun of them or like stuff like that. Well, once COVID happened about three weeks or three months into COVID, he became like a right wing guy. Still, I really didn't have any politics before this.

Well, COVID did that to a lot of people. Right. But people started being like, oh, all my old coping mechanisms aren't working anymore. I got to find some new ones. Yeah. Yeah. So he's this guy that's like, I don't know. He is very anti-vax. He is very anti-mask, which I mean, I know that I mean, I have relatives that are that.

You know, but they don't have like this huge platform and they don't have the smugness of Jim Brewer and JP Sears.

That is the funny thing is their whole deal and part of what does fuel that attitude is, is the imperial smugness of, you know, like the liberal doogaters who are like, where a frickin mask, okay, be a good person like me.
