We love it when Jiu Green decides to stop by and tell us what we should and should not be watching,

All right, let's start with the theaters and then let's go into some streaming. I watch some new stuff, some old stuff, but it's all pretty good. So last week, we were on a

little bit of a break, so I feel obligated to say Mortal Kombat 2 was a really fun time at the theater.

I'm a big Mortal Kombat fan, play the games growing up. And this movie is the closest to the games

that you're going to get. It's gory fatalities are dope. I was like, and also, who doesn't love Carl Urban. He's having like a little bit of a moment between the boys and then playing Johnny Cage, my personal favorite Mortal Kombat character. The fight scenes. I think the fight scenes are the best that they've ever been in a Mortal Kombat movie. So yeah, we also interviewed Lutely Lynn on the podcast who plays Lucaine. So Mortal Kombat 2, if you're a Mortal Kombat fan, go ahead and check that out. It's an IMAX this time. The first one was during the pandemic, so it only came out on streaming. This one, guys, I think this is a generational movie.

Obsession.

I don't know if you guys have heard about it.

I don't know if you guys get the same amount of like exposure advertising wise over there in New York as I do in L.A.

But obsession is a horror movie from the director Curry Barker who,

fun fact, started off as a comedian on TikTok and YouTube making skits and things like that.

This is his first movie that he's ever done.

And this movie is one of the best debuts from her director that I've ever seen.

It follows a guy who makes a wish that this girl that he likes is in love with him and only him.

And she becomes absolutely insane.

And not just like, oh, she's doing like little weird things to keep him around.
