Hey, welcome back to the Personality Hacker Podcast. My name is Joe Mark Witt.

And I'm Antonio Dodge. Today we are going to expand upon a model of framework that we talk about a lot here

at Personality Hacker. It's called the Graves model or you might know it as

spiral dynamics. We did an entire podcast. man it was maybe almost two years ago. It was at least a year ago, if not more, where we spent the entire

podcast all 45 minutes to an hour, I'm not sure exactly how long it was detailing this framework

or model it's a vertical model of development of human development and we went

through levels one through I think we went up to eight in this model where we detailed it out and we gave a very high

level 20,000 foot overview of how this model looks and we reference it all the time on the Facebook groups in the

social media channels in the community. We talk about this a lot even on this

podcast will reference the Graves model or Spirod dynamics and that that comes up all the time.

So what we thought we would do today and in fact we want to do a short series around

getting a little bit more nuanced for the Graves model

Spirod dynamics.

We want to go down the road of understanding

some of these levels of development

and the interplay between the levels, the stratification of the levels, because it's not like

anything operates in a silo or a vacuum, everything is interrelated.

So we're going to talk about the interrelation and

then we'd like to take the model and we did this back a little bit with the

Baltimore City riots podcast over a year ago. I think in the spring of like last year or something when those were

happening and we applied it to real world situations to some degree but we'd like to

do that in more of an overarching you know meta model way with a couple things.
