0:26.0

Troy Eggman, Jerry Rice, Matt Ryan, Sean Payton. We asked him a bunch of different things, including about the game, about legacy. I think they're really going to enjoy it. What about you?

0:37.0

Well, first I want to go ahead and start the rumor that the reason I wasn't on the Jerry Rice interviews because we have beef and Jerry and I have to have to resolve that.

0:46.0

No, that's not really why I wasn't on it, but look, I had fun doing these. I thought really what stuck out to me, you and I spent a quite a long time talking to Sean Payton.

0:57.0

And this is a guy that over the expanse of my career. I feel like, you know, he's had his prickly moments.

1:07.0

But the longer that Sean has been in the game, the more that he's sort of become a little bit of a statesman, you know, we go to these owners meetings or rules committee meetings and Sean's like the guy who ends up leading goes out talks to the media really kind of explains what's going on.

1:24.0

I sat there and through that interview, I thought, man, this is a guy who really I think has grown into sort of being a little bit of a statesman for what the NFL does.

1:35.0

What he's upset about, what's working, what's not working. He's clearly not afraid to give his opinion on a lot of controversial topics.

1:42.0

And I think in terms of TV, I think what Sean wants to hang it up, he's probably going to have a pretty long and lucrative career in TV if he wants it.

1:49.0

Yeah, I thought he was great. He went into detail on some different subjects that I thought were interesting, including what he thought of James Winston, which I'll be turning into a column here at some point.

2:01.0

Also, you know, just his thoughts on each Super Bowl team, right, because he's faced both of them this year, which I thought, hey, you know, he went down the dork football rabbit hole, which I'd expect nothing less from a pro football.

2:13.0

Yeah, coach, but I enjoyed that the Jerry Rice interview. He was actually pretty good about legacy too. So, you know, I thought in a lot of different ways, you know, we did a nice job kind of setting up this big game, but also talking about some bigger issues in the league, like Matt Ryan, for instance, right.

2:29.0

I think you got a good question in there about quarterbacks taking their future into their own hands, right.

2:34.0

But to Sean Watson, that's something we touched on with Troy Ackman as well, and if you care, and Peyton, right. And I think that it becoming from you shortly.

2:41.0

And I think if you care about, you know, where the league is headed, I thought that was really, really interesting in a lot of different ways.

2:47.0

So I enjoyed this. I think if you listen the whole way through, it's a little bit of something for everybody.

2:53.0

You know, even Detroit fans, like I got in a question about Dan Campbell to Peyton, who was great. You know, so I hope you guys give this one a shot.

3:00.0

I thought a lot of these guys were really interesting in their own ways. Yeah, you don't have to the good thing about these.

3:06.0

You don't have to be a Niners fan or Falcons fan or a Saints fan. These are guys talking about over a lot of overarching league issues that are really.
