All right, so what if I told you there is a way to teach your kids important life

lessons that doesn't require any reminding or cajoling or threatening?

Well, today we have just that for you, some simple parenting strategies

that hopefully you're going to keep you from pulling out your hair or blowing up

the relationship with your kids.

They sat down with Focus President Jim Daly and me

to share some out-of-the- box parenting advice.

You can't motivate, seemingly,

that child to get that homework assignment done

and you've been battling this for maybe not just a few weeks or a few months maybe now

it's year number two it's seventh grade it's eighth grade it's ninth grade

uh... what can we do differently

that will begin to prompt that child to begin to show the right behavior to do the homework when it's assigned? Well we have to be creative there and part of

being a good parent is having fun parenting and because it's only when we're

having fun I think that we can be creative so have fun

have fun parent even in the negative my child is about to fail school and you're

telling me I should have fun yes I'm telling you there's a better way than talking to them about it.
