Welcome to this edition of Where Did the Road Go, and tonight I am joined by Edson Freeman, who has written a book called Strange Light, Personal Encounters of UFOs, NDE's, and other enduring mysteries. How are you doing, Edson? I'm doing good. Thanks for having me on. And you are, you're located down in North Carolina, right? Yes. And this is book number one. Book number one. First time out. And did you publish this yourself? Yeah. Yeah. I did have some good mentors helping me out, but it is self-published.
1:29.2	Yeah. She worked with Mike Cleland on some of it and Suzanne Chancellor, both of whom have been

1:40.8	bit, too. I know who she is. I haven't actually had her on the show. Okay. Yeah. But yeah. So that's cool. It's a good book. It's a collection of diverse stories about
1:50.7	people's transformative encounters with the paranormal. Do you think that fits? Yeah. Yeah.
1:57.5	I tried to cover a broad spectrum of all different types of experiences, near-death experiences, UFO encounters, pre-cognition, all the different things.

2:11.4	Right, yeah, yeah. I thought that was a really interesting part of the story was, you know, these are, a lot of times these stories come with a
2:18.3	stigma, whether that's sort of a stigma encouraged by maybe the military industrial complex or
2:23.9	some aspect of it, or maybe by somebody's religion, you know, they don't want you talking about
2:29.4	UFOs. So that can have an effect on people, but also just the fact that this weird thing happened
2:36.2	that you don't know what to make of it, that's going to affect your life. So yeah, I thought that was a
2:40.6	really interesting piece of the puzzle. I also find that people who are simply hallucinating don't
2:46.6	see that happen in their lives. Oh, you mean that it doesn't really change their life?
