On GoFundMe, a crowdsourcing funding website, a man set up a page to raise funds for his son.

On Friday, October 5, 2018, the information said, our son, Terence Woods Jr., disappeared in Oro Grande, Idaho. Terrence had been working

with a British film crew on a documentary about abandoned gold mines in Idaho County. His father was now

asking for people to donate to help raise funds for an investigation into what had happened to

his son.

He said after one week of search efforts by local authorities, no trace of him at all.

Search efforts were called off the following Thursday, so all we can do is pray that Terrence comes home.

The Idaho County News reported on the story. Family left with more questions than answers

after filmmaker's son disappears without trace. Idaho County Sheriff Doug Giddings told the Idaho

County News the 26-year-old Terrence Woods was talking to a co-worker when he drops his radio and takes off running down the hill.

His family said, Terrence has travelled the world and has worked with different crews in various

terrain and weather. His father spoke of the last text conversation he had with his son on

the morning of his disappearance in the rugged terrain

of Idaho County. The text said at 8.35 a.m. Dad, I'm coming home Wednesday the 10th. His dad says

between that little time, something went wrong. Then the next call I get is from the company

saying my son has disappeared and can't find a trace of him.

Idaho County Sheriff's Office released a statement.

On Monday the 5th of October, at 6.41 p.m., to Sheriff's Office was notified of a missing person.

27-year-old Terrence Woods of Maryland had become separated from his party. Sheriff Doug

Gooding said and a member on the scene from the film crew told the sheriff that Woods had been

acting strange. They told him that as the crew were in the process of wrapping up filming for the day,

Woods ran off. The film crew's statement was that he went over to the edge
