After lying 15 months in state at the home of the parents, little Virginia Tonkin, youngest child of JB Tonkin, of Oswego was consigned to the tomb.

The handsome mausoleum which has been building for the past six months in Riverside Cemetery is at last completed.

Since the day that life has fled from the little body, it has laying in its hermetically sealed casket in the same room which the child occupied when alive.

Violets, her favorite flower, were visible everywhere.

All these long months, the family have gone about their daily tasks in the same old accustomed way.

Instead of feeling it a gruesome, awful thing that the body should remain for so long in the house, the family has doomed it a beautiful thought and little Virginia might have been lying asleep in her bed.
