It was against religious hypocrites.

The religious leaders concentrated on the external.

Jesus concentrated on the attitudes.

And now, Jesus is going to turn to our attitudes about worship.

You know, Jesus had some major beefs with the religious leaders of his day.

He spent more time criticizing the Pharisees than any other group.

So how could these seemingly development have gotten it so wrong?
