Summary

On today’s episode, Jason discusses why the Los Angeles Lakers' thrilling overtime win over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night has him believing that the Purple & Gold can make a run to the NBA Finals, how LeBron James has reinvnented himself as an overqualified role player alongside Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, why it's clear now more than ever that Charles Barkley is nothing more than a hater, whether Duke super freshman Cameron Boozer is capable of carrying the Blue Devils deep into the NCAA Tournament, and why J-Mac is a big believer is building out as many March Madness brackets as possible.

So we'll be taping podcast usually a little early. We got some great guests lined up. Very excited for that. Football, I guess, goes on the back burner finally. Nothing really happened. I mean, Kyler Murray to the Vikings was the last big one. It sounds like Kirk Cousins is going to Rob G's Raiders, but football's going quiet. It's going to go a little bit dark and then we'll pick up, you know, with the draft stuff. But I know people are excited for World Baseball Classic. Currently, Rob G. and I are watching USA in a thriller against the DR. Aaron Judge just had a home run Rob, really nice play by the center fieler. As much as I love the brackets, I do think we probably have to start with what I thought was the biggest sports moment of the weekend.

It was Lakers Nuggets Saturday night. So let me set the stage. So, you know, it's kind of a free weekend. Not much kids sports. So I was able to do my dad volleyball thing Saturday morning. So good. So good. And I get home, you know, I'm just to the standoff. Wife, not thrilled that I bounced early to go play volleyball. Actually, two days in a row Friday, Saturday. And my buddy calls me with season tickets. Jay, hey, we got an extra Lakers Nuggets. I'm like, oh, gosh, I so want to badly go. I'm like, oh, my gosh. It's a huge game. Ultimately, I was like, you know what, the wife's going to kill me. This is being a good dad, husband.
