Christmas in Quarantine: Day 1. Everyone is housebound amid the COVID-19 crisis, and lots of us are putting up our Christmas decorations again to cope! Today I'm introducing "Christmas in Quarantine," an impromptu miniseries of indeterminate length. I'll release one new episode every day until the crisis subsides. Today, I bring you Frank L. So, what's new and different in your life? By the time this episode arrives, we'll be just a couple of days after St. Patrick's Day, and things are looking and feeling just a little bit different around here, as I'm sure they are for you, too. Here in sunny San Mateo, California, we're part of a county that's been issued a shelter-in-place ordinance,

meaning that people shouldn't leave their houses unless it's for absolutely essential activities,

like getting food or going to the doctor.

Now, as with all things, this too shall pass, but for the next few months, life's going to be a little bit different.

First and foremost, I hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy and

following all of the sensible guidelines for reducing the spread of the coronavirus.

We're all in this together, and we need to rely on one another to help protect the most

vulnerable among us and to make sure that this passes as quickly as it possibly can.
