podcast today I have James Hervey who has kindly agreed to share his

OCD story with us. Welcome to the show James. Hey, thank you, sir.

Yeah, it's good to have you on.

And obviously we met at the OCD conference in Texas.

Yeah.

Yeah.

It's good to meet you.

For sure.

So as you know, I always like to give people's OCD story, so in as little as much detail

as you want to go into, it would be good to hear that.

Yeah, sure, I'd be happy to. So, you know, my OCD story goes back quite a ways even though I didn't really know until earlier in this year that that's what it was.

I've been thinking about this a lot over the last, over the last, you know, five or

six months as I've been working with my therapist and the first or

earliest memory of OCD like symptoms that I can remember was when I was about in the fifth grade so maybe 10 11 years old and I had read the Stephen King story, The Boogie Man, out of the collection Night Shift.
