Summary
Anora and Julia have a sleepover together at Anora’s house. Together they learn that the rain is not so scary after all.
Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Stormy Music,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 3:38
Stormy Music Excerpt:
Julia sat inside the fort, looking around at all of Anora’s colorful blankets, and wrapped herself up in the edge of one of the blankets. The fort was small but cozy. She started to say something to Anora, when the girls heard a boom! from outside.
Julia froze at the sound of the loud rumble of thunder. That first thunderclap was quickly followed by several bright flashes of light and more thunder. Then the rain began falling in earnest. The two girls could hear the heavy raindrops pounding against the roof of the house. Julia pulled the blanket over her head to hide.
Today’s Meditation: Relax your whole body from head to toe in this meditation.
