The The The very night DeNaris Targaryen was born, one of the worst storms in living memory struck. This earned her the nickname Stormborn,

a moniker that has spread far and wide alongside news of her deeds, and it's one she's carried before her

like a standard. She uses it. And why not? It's a potent name, a portentous name, a name that carries a lot of weight and

meaning. Also, it just sounds cool. Storms like other extreme weather are fairly common literary

devices to indicate something else going on, something deeper. With Danny, there's a lot to say

about that. Storms represent emotional turmoil, something deeper. With Danny, there's a lot to say about that. Storms represent emotional

turmoil, aka conflict, and madness, and change. The trope, it was a dark and stormy night,

stands out as such a classic overused example that it's the example of overused examples for an opening sentence.

Now, George doesn't actually write it that way, of course, but Danny was born on a dark and stormy night.

He still wanted to use that vibe just without the basic version of it.

He did a much more advanced version.

It's loaded with symbolism and meaning and foreshadowing.

Much of that we've already seen unfold, right? Danny's adventures have gone quite a bit.

We've seen a lot of what she's done and she's living up to that nickname, but much is yet to

come still. So these are all fitting things to say about DeNaris or to speak of in reference to her.

They're all part of the pastiche of her character, all the people she's encountered,

who have felt her presence, whether follower or foe, could say that about her.

She has that presence.

She has that strength.

today's story because they're witnesses to a lot of this. And so is, most importantly, and least known,

Queen Reella, who gave birth to Ragar during Summer Hall, and then to Deneres during the storm
