that represented some sort of intelligent being more like three-dimensional kind of fractals, but in the center of it, it wasn't necessarily a face,

but it felt like an identity of something.

It felt intelligent.

In my young mind, I think I recall thinking that it was a person and I didn't understand how a person could be so bright.

And all I focused on was that glow as I went across the street.

And in a flash, I heard the other kids I was with screaming and yelling and asking

me if I was okay. And then realizing I wasn't on the other side of the street, but I had still

yet to cross the street. But they were already on the other side of the street.

I didn't really understand what had happened.

But then it was explained to me that while I was looking at this glow, while I was mesmerized by it, whatever it was, a car had apparently appeared to hit me as I ran

across the road.

But yet I was still on the side of the road as if I hadn't even crossed.

My friends were already on the other side.

So whether this was something that we could attribute to a guardian angel of swords, some sort of divine

protection, whatever you want to call it, isn't so relevant or important as much as this being

a defining moment where I started to look at the paranormal as a kid and see this was something not normal,
