We are finishing up a month-long series on unique retirement, specifically the

expat life and retiring with children with special needs. And we've heard from

two people that approach it from the advisory end in guiding people.

But when you're dealing with unique situations,

people that are living the situation generally are the most versed on all the

specifics because they're going through it. So today we're going to share three

different stories on living unique retirements.

Two stories on the ex-pat life, one from Doug, who I would say is an expert on living overseas full time.

He's done it most of his life and is retired in

Thailand. And then we're going to hear from Richard, a good friend of mine, who's in

the midst of preparing for retirement while having two of his children have special needs

and managing how do we make sure they're okay financially and launch them but also take care of our retirement.

And he's going to share his journey and he has another unique perspective because he's

living it but he also has a business called Special Sitters that serves that community and helping

place people to help lend a helping hand in dealing with children with special
