Minneapolis after police officer Derek Schaubin held his knee to Floyd's neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds.

Just nine days ago, the city of Minneapolis was the site of the first public

protest in reaction to Floyd's death. Since then protests have spread

across the country to every state and even across the globe to multiple

countries. There has been a profound outpouring of grief and a remarkable sustained call for justice for George Floyd and for so many other
