Lauren, I have a question for you, which is, can you

tell me about a conflict that you and your husband perhaps almost had, but then did not?

Yeah, there's a really specific memory that comes up. This was some years back. We had just bought our first home together, and I was

pregnant with our first child, and we renovated our entire home. And so it was a year of spending a lot of

money and getting ready to spend a lot more money, bringing another member into the family.

And so we were sitting in bed one night,

and my husband, kind of out of the blue, was like,

I have been thinking that I need a new laptop.

And I would like to get this new laptop that I've been researching.

And I asked him, I think, how much it was.

And he said $4,000. Oh, my goodness. And I almost choked. I was like, I'm sorry. Like, do you not know where we are in our lives right now, like all the money that we're spending? Yeah. $4,000. I mean, I'm not like a laptop genius by any means, but like that sounds like a lot. I wanted to know more about this story

because I can just already hear the argument that that would start between any couple. I'm

thinking like me and my wife, you and your husband, like any couple. It's like we're doing all this

stuff and now you want to buy a $4,000 computer. How did that not turn into an argument? It really almost did. Like the off-ramp
