I felt incredibly alone and incredibly silly and foolish for daring to take this path.

And everybody was very worried about me.

And everybody thought I was insane.

And everyone was saying, this is, you know, authors don't make money.

And I just relentlessly pursued it.

And I don't know whether it was faith or if it was stubbornness.

But I was like, nah, fuck this.

I have to have a life that I love.
