I am Jay Warner Wallace.

I want to talk this week about a kind of a recurring theme in our

show here if you watch it very often and that is about the crisis that faces us as a church,

especially in Protestant churches that really concerns young people

who are leaving the church in general with the big sea at a rate higher than any

other group and a rate higher than ever before in history.

And so what we see is the kind of growing secularization of our country here in America

involving churches that are losing membership

really in that key block of I think like the millennials from

say 18 to 30.

That is the block of people who are leaving in big numbers.

Surveys expose this all the time.
