In this episode, we discuss feeling behind in life, how to stop rushing through your days, and enjoying the present moment. Often, when we feel stuck or unhappy in life, we wish our current days by in search for 'better' days. However, this idea that life is a series of checklists that we have to get through in order to be fulfilled begets much anxiety, resentment, and even depression. It's important to view your life as a journey, and as a unique timeline that was made only for you. Your life is a big, blank page, and you can do whatever you want with it. In order to stay present and enjoy the here and now, it's vital to practice mindfulness daily, focus on what you can do with what you have now, and be a creator. Your life is what you make of it, and you're exactly who, what, and where you need to be in this exact moment!

weeks. I have been really taking my time to be

present and not be in such a hurry to work. And that's something that I have worked for many years

to be able to take off as much time as I'd like to and just take breaks. And I'm so grateful

to those of you who are patient with me and who are

just so accepting and loving. And you understand how a lot of the work that I do does take a lot of

my energy. And it is more than just sitting down and getting through work or writing or

planning or whatever. It's so much more. And I have really been taking time lately just to be

present with my family especially. And a lot of you guys know that I welcomed, well, my sister

welcomed my little nephew into the world a couple of weeks ago. So it has been just a lot of family

time. And I've really been enjoying that. I've been enjoying

just being in the now and not just being go, go, go and rushing and doing things because

earlier this year, I did go through a bit of a burnout and I had never experienced that before

and I just didn't feel inspired. I didn't feel energized. I felt very, very lacking.
