If there was a scripture that I believe could best compliment or be the core focus of this

whole trap-how series, I believe it would live in Hebrews chapter 6, verse 12.

You don't have to turn there, so be on the screen for you.

I believe this is most likely the nucleus for a whole trap-how series.

It states, we do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who, through faith

and patience, inherit what has been promised.

The reason we're doing this series as our second sermon series of the 2023 calendar year

is because God is saying, I want you to experience my promises.

Every door that you're supposed to walk into, I want you to experience it.

Every opportunity that I have for you, I want you to experience it, but don't just say

the good stuff, also the heart of stuff.

Every wilderness.

See that?

Every wilderness that I have for you, I want you to experience it and trust me in it because

if you're in a wilderness, it's because you're heading to a promise.

You don't experience the promise land without a wilderness season and the qualities that

you're going to need right here in this text, it tells us patience and faith.

Now some of us are like, I got the faith.

I'm good.

I believe that God is going to do everything that He said He's going to do.

I have the faith, but you don't have the patience.

You don't have the patience to wash Judas feet too.
