just thankful that you're here and I think we're just gonna go ahead and hop

right in yeah let's do it y'all today we are in Romans again one of my favorite

books in the Bible and we're reading out of Romans 3 verse 23 and the

devotional is titled forgiveness for falling short it says for everyone has

sinned we all fall short of God's glorious standard that was Romans 3 23 the

love letter from God says beloved child I have covered your sins with my son

sacrifice you can't change anything that you've done but you don't have to

because I have forgiven you once you confess your sin to me I don't see it

anymore it's gone forever from my memory since I let it go I'm asking you to

do the same so you can accept the gift of a new day living in my light don't

allow others to bring up your past to shame you and overpower what I have done

for you you will always have two choices either listen to the voices of people

or hear my voice whisper that it is finished the old is gone and the new has

begun open your ears and your heart to my whisper and be free from your past

so you can become all I've called you to be love your heavenly Father through

reflection says the pressure to be perfect is not from God it's from ourselves

or from others we are so much harder on ourselves than God is he knows that we

will sin and that is why he sent the Savior he loves us too much and knows us too

well to expect us to live out our faith without him giving us the power to
