thought diffusion. And essentially what that is is it's being able to observe our thoughts and

detach from our thoughts rather than get caught up in the content of our thoughts.

There's a lot of areas of my life

that I have identified where I've gotten caught up in thoughts before. I would say the first area

was when I was losing weight. The reason I was overweight was that any time I had the thought,

oh, I think I should eat. Oh, that looks good. I would eat it. And what I had to retrain myself

was that I could have thoughts all day about wanting to eat food. It didn't mean I had would eat it. And what I had to retrain myself was that I could have thoughts all day about

wanting to eat food. It didn't mean I had to eat food. In fact, I could eat in accordance with my
