0:30.8	Men, today I want to talk about something that I am seeing everywhere. It's in our culture.
0:37.1	It's in our homes. It's in our conversations. And it's
0:41.2	even in the men who message me every single day to talk about some of these issues. And that is the
0:47.4	fact that men are outsourcing their power. I see it all the time. We hand off our power to our
0:53.8	emotions and let our emotional outbursts and concerns get the better of us. We hand it off to institutions like the government and academia and the medical community, financial institutions. We even hand it off to our circumstances. So many men will say, well, you know, because I was raised in this kind of home
1:12.4	or because I'm around these types of people or because my boss was this or the employment, my
1:17.8	employment situation is this or the economy is that. And you know, we also handed off to the
1:22.8	stories that we were conditioned to believe as boys. And we were. I want you to think about the destructive
1:29.7	thoughts and ideas that you have on a daily basis and ask yourself, where did that come from?
1:35.5	Where did that originate? And if it were absolutely true, unequivocally true, then why is it that
1:43.2	nobody else necessarily believes that way? Or why is it
1:46.5	that some people, even in the same circumstances, are able to produce better results than we are?
1:52.3	It's probably because of the stories that we're telling. And then, you know, we wonder at the same
1:57.4	time why we feel stuck and why we feel frustrated. Many of you are resentful.
