What pulled you into this space? Was it some defining moment that made you realize that this was your lane?

The defining moment was quitting my job, my safe corporate job, to become a freelance writer and my father asking me to come and

help with the new business he'd launched, which happened to be a business network back in 1999.

He launched it in 98.

So it wasn't any great epiphany.

I hadn't even heard the term networking at the time.

And it was really just to use different skills that I'd used in my 20s, which was cold calling,
