We're picking up with day two of our devotion to the Bible, titled The God Moment that

changes everything.

There's a link to that in the description if you guys want to fall along with us.

And as always, I'm going to read the scripture of the Torah again through the d-bo.

The scripture is Genesis 4 verses 6 and 7, and it says this.

Why are you so angry, the Lord asked Cain?

Why do you look so dejected?

You'll be accepted if you do what is right, but if you refuse to do what is right, then

watch out.

Sin is crouching at the door eager to control you, but you must subdue it and be its master.

The devotional is titled Awakening, coming to your senses, and it says this, often we

miss the alarm sounding in our lives because we're not sensitive to them.

The soft harp alarm won't do the job.

It's going to take the blaring alarm to wake us up.

So instead of responding to the alarm early, we keep hitting snooze.

The alarm grows louder and louder until eventually it is so unpleasant we can't ignore it any

longer.

So we wake up, rubberize, look around to find the prodigal son's pigs surrounding us,
