They have been completely uncompetitive for three straight games. I think that has changed a lot about the

jet season. So today we're going to talk about some of the things that have changed over the last

three weeks, how the defense has shown that it really has no pieces to build on, how Brise Hall's

contract status going forward may have changed from a recent slump. But let's begin by talking

about Jets head coach Aaron Glenn,

who is having, by all accounts, a difficult first season as a head coach in the NFL.

And I think that every new head coach who takes a job for the first time has a grand plan

in their heads for how things are going to go. When you become a head

coach, you've usually been an assistant coach for quite some time in this league. So you've had

time to think through how you would run things if you ever got the opportunity. And some coaches

hit the ground running. They do great in year one and it's really smooth sailing in the early part of their tenure.

It's been the opposite for Glenn.

Many coaches find that the best plans you've got, the best plans you can come up with,

sound great in paper, but they're much more difficult to implement in theory.

And I think for Aaron Glenn, it's fair to say that it's very difficult to implement his plans with the roster he inherited.
