I want to focus on why I believe we should stop blaming the cops of Uvalde despite the fact that it's obvious now,

given the video that they did a horrible job in responding to the Uvalde shooter.

But I'm going to talk to you about things that we can do and why we need to be held accountable ourselves

for mass shootings like we saw in Uvalde.

Hey, welcome to the Carl Jackson podcast. Guys, I'm going to get to the Uvalde shooting and things that we can do to be able to protect ourselves.

I'm going to give you a little bit of my own history. I was the I was a victim. I hate using that word, but it's true.

I was the victim of two violent crimes in my lifetime when I was doing stuff that I had no business doing.

I want to talk to you about a dangerous mindset that I think exists in American culture, even within conservative circles.

I see it being played out in the Uvalde Texas shooting reaction, even with the police officers, despite the fact that there's been video.

I can't imagine the pain and the frustration.

I think that the parents going to a school shooting and seeing the cops are setting still when they they should have bum rush, bum rush, the building.

Having said that, I know this is going to be a little difficult for some people to hear, but I think that I think that we need to hear this in order to save life in the future.

I think that there's going to be many more things that parents could have could have done. There's so much things that the local state ledges, the local commissioners, whatever.

Politicians could have done to make that school a safer place and a better place.

I want to get into some of those next week. I'm going to have an expert on that trains people in self-defense, Rob Pinkis on how to defend yourself, how to defend property such as school premises, so on, etc.

That's what he does for a living. So we're going to bring him on next week and we're going to get into some specified details.
