There are plenty of opportunities to be offended each day. But what if we decided to stop being offended and respond differently to those around us? In this message, we’ll learn how to live with No Offense.

0:00.0	Well, I wonder how many of you have noticed that there are so many people today that are
0:06.6	incredibly easily offended.
0:10.1	Who would say you've noticed?
0:11.6	People are really easily offended.
0:14.1	I hate to even ask this follow-up question, but how many of you notice that oftentimes
0:18.8	Christians can be some of the most easily offended people around?
0:22.5	If you notice that, why do you think that is?
0:26.4	How do you think it is that Christians, among so many people, can be so easily offended?
0:34.2	I'll answer that according to what I think.
0:36.3	I think as disciples of Jesus, that it's probably part of our jobs to be offended.
0:43.6	They God calls us as followers of Jesus to point out sins, to gripe about something in
0:50.1	culture, to be angry and to stand up for truth.
0:53.2	If you really love Jesus, aren't we called to be offended by and mad about sin and injustices
1:00.6	in this world?
1:02.7	Hashtag, I'm being sarcastic.
1:05.4	Just a little bit.
1:06.9	But today, what I want to do is I want to start a new message series called No Offence
1:12.7	and talk about how in our culture today, so many people are easily offended and incredibly
1:18.9	angry, and what is our response as disciples of Jesus to all the division and all the hatred
1:26.5	and all the anger in this world?
1:29.1	And I want to give credit to an author and highlight the book called Unaffinable by
1:34.3	Brent Hansen.
