U.S. stocks rallied today as technology shares led a broad recovery, bringing the major

indexes within striking distance of new records. The NASDAQ climbed 1.3%, marking its third

consecutive day of moves of at least 1%.

The S&P 500 rose 0.9%, while the Dow added 0.4%.

Investors are balancing a cloudy economic outlook and recent volatility in artificial intelligence shares against hopes for a year-end rally.

Among individual companies, Oracle shares jumped nearly 7%. The move follows

news that TikTok parent Fight Dance has formalized an agreement to create a new U.S. joint venture,

with Oracle joining an investor consortium that will hold a 50% stake in the entity.

Nike shares skidded 10.5% today. The sportswear giant warned that it expects

sales to decline, citing persistent weakness in the Chinese market and higher costs driven by tariffs.
