Wall Street is working to recover from a major meltdown. Stocks yesterday suffered their biggest drop in nearly two years.

All three major indexes fell more than 2.5%.

Really, the sell-off started last week,

after Friday's US jobs report showed slower hiring,

with unemployment rising to its highest level in nearly two years.

With that, it seems investors worried the world's largest economy could be slowing

and that the Federal Reserve may have waited too long to cut interest rates.
