0:00.0	Hey everybody Rob now we're here and today we'll be talking a little bit about what's
0:10.7	been going on with the stock market obviously a rougher start to the week this week for
0:14.3	the overall market and Tesla as well.
0:16.6	Most of this being attributed to the ever grand situation in China so we'll briefly go
0:20.2	through that and then we do have other news we've got some updates from Elon Musk on
0:23.2	the FSD Beta, Elon's comments on President Biden's news on possible next gigafactories,
0:28.8	Tesla's referral program and a few other stories as well.
0:31.9	Alright so Tesla's stock today starting off the week down 3.9% to $730.17 but that was
0:38.3	in a tough macro environment the NASDAQ was down at 2.2% which was the worst day for
0:43.2	the NASDAQ in just over 4 months.
0:45.9	Conversely this is only the worst day for Tesla in about a month so I guess relatively
0:49.6	a good performer today actually and compared to other automakers like Ford GM, Neo etc.
0:55.0	Tesla actually performing about the same or even better.
0:58.1	So really just the latest example of a day where the macro environment is really overwhelming
1:01.8	anything related to most individual stocks which happens all the time and it's a good
1:06.3	reminder that no matter how confident you are in a company over the short term basis
1:10.2	a lot of that is still going to be influenced on what's going on on the macro level.
1:13.7	It's one of many reasons that I like holding for very very long periods of time.
1:17.9	So anyway I'm sure most of you have heard about the ever grand situation by now we won't
1:21.2	spend a ton of time on it but just provide the high level context for the situation there.
1:25.8	Evergrande is China's second largest real estate developer they've got some other business
1:29.4	units too that are in some cases related some cases not but anyway they're a company
