| 0:51.7 | the advent of Barack Obama was the ultimate in big spending government. |
| 0:56.9 | So they have decided to draw a line in the sand to some degree against a lot of these spending |

| 1:02.2 | We saw it on the various bailouts. We saw it on the stimulus bill. |
| 1:05.3 | We're going to see it in opposition to the omnibus bill that's coming down the road and the |
| 1:10.3 | Obama budget. This I think is probably going to be a defining moment |
| 1:15.8 | in terms of the Republican Party going forward. |
| 1:17.9 | Who are the people who have been most articulate |
| 1:21.4 | in opposing this kind of spending. |
| 1:25.6 | Governors, members of Congress? |
| 1:27.7 | Clearly, I think the unanimity among House Republicans |
| 1:31.4 | spoke volumes. |
| 1:32.7 | And you have to give a certain amount of credit |
| 1:34.1 | to the new Republican leadership in terms of maintaining |
