Hello and welcome to Still Watching Succession.

I'm Richard Lawson. I'm Sonya Soraya.

0:52.0

We're here today to talk about episode four of Succession season three lion in the meadow.

0:58.0

But before we do that, Sonya, we have to do some housekeeping, some maya culpa ing.

1:03.0

Some maya culpa ing. We have a lot, fortunately we've caught up to where everyone else is in terms of watching the show.

1:11.0

But that means that we got, we had about 20 people at least tell us that we, the person that we did not recognize last episode was Colin the security guy played by what's his name Scott Nicholson, who's been a security guy for Logan throughout the show.

But maybe most importantly was one of the fixer's present, kind of the key fixer present for when the season one finale when Kendall killed that guy.

I guess this moment in season episode three when Colin says I know you is meant to not let us forget that.

2:27.0

But I don't know maybe in the texture of the show it's better to forget.

2:30.0

We forgot it regardless. I mean, and it does seem often that Kendall has excised that from his brain, which I think is it's another interesting call back to that moment.

2:40.0

My my excuse if there is an excuse when when we have watched rewatch that season I find that episode really hard to watch just like watching Kendall's whole thing like collapse so I watched it with my you know my hands over my face and I didn't recognize him.

2:56.0

We we have a lot to talk about this episode because we want to do some of your mailbag and we have two interviews on this episode.

3:05.0

And fortunately this episodes not nearly as climactic as last week so we have we definitely have things to talk about with the lion in the meadow which must be a reference to lion and winter.
