here's what I love about renfares the first time I went to one I was like

Googling like period appropriate like when we say

renaissance what kind of skirt am I supposed to wear like you know

like I don't know I'm not a fashion historian

and so I was trying to like be real like well I don't

want people to give me a side eye you know like I better fit in and then you go to a renaissance

fair and nobody cares no there will always be like I mean well because there's always a time traveler type vibe right because you've got

steampunk booths usually set up I know with the one I go to there's always a time travelers

weekend so specifically that invites anybody there's always some doctor who's there always

some some links in Zelda's yeah uh Johnny De Depp. Well, not Johnny Depp. Captain Jack Sparrow. Lots of pirates. Pirates are big at Renfares. Yeah. You can be a pirate at the Renfair. Yeah. I mean, obviously there's lots of knights and, you know, lords and ladies, queens and princesses and all that sort of jazz. there are a lot of little kids in just straight up Halloween costumes.
