the idea of stewarding your words. And we've been walking our way very slowly, mind you,

through my book, Waking Up to the Goodness of God, 40 days toward healing and wholeness,

and it really is just about building a case for the goodness of God, changing our posture

from bracing for impact to really making an about-face and anticipating God's goodness.

The devil wants us bracing for impact, wants us waiting for the next shoe to drop.

God wants us to live with wide-eyed, wondered, holy expectancy.

So what do our words have to do with it?

Well, first, let me say, this idea has been taken to an extreme, so I was hesitant to even write about it or even speak about it.

Because sometimes in the, I don't know, I'm careful to say this, the name it, claimant realm,

you're not allowed to say anything that sounds like a quote negative confession.
