response. Yesterday, she filed a document which essentially tried to clear up some citations

to the record mistakes. This is a very old case that goes back to 2005 long before there

was electronic filing and scanning of the documents into the record. And I've seen this

in other cases as well. Apparently, there were some mix-ups in which documents were assigned

to which document numbers. The state pointed that out in their response, and then she filed

a request to amend her motion that corrected those citations. And that's what she did yesterday

is actually filed that amendment.

How long can this go on for?

You know, it can go on, unfortunately, a very long time as people were learning. I had

a case where a guy named Ralph Armstrong that I was working on for the Innocence Project

that was filing for 19 years, actually 15 years with me before we finally got him out.

So, you know, that's one of the problems with American justice is just it takes forever.

At least one of the reasons perhaps the people who originally put them in prison, they

have moved on and it's a new breed of people re-examining these cases.
