Johnny Holliday and Steve Souter will have the call with the number two team in America, Indiana,

in town to face the Terps who are four and three.

They've lost their last three, but all three of the games were certainly winnable in the fourth quarter.

Steve joins us right now, of course, many of you now, big fans of Steve because of the incredible film breakdowns he's been doing of the Commander's games.

We'll maybe touch on that for a moment, but I wanted to have you on like I used to have you on, which is

so that we can talk about our football team here.

And this is the biggest challenge, a much bigger challenge than Washington, Nebraska, or UCLA,

three very close games that they led in the fourth quarter and lost.

How do they beat Indiana tomorrow, or how do they at least make it a game? Yeah, they've got to play pretty close to a perfect football. They're going to be outmatched in most key areas, skill position-wise, and in the interior. So it's one of those games, you know, it's cliche, but this is the win. You have to hit all the cliches. You can't beat yourself. they've had drop passes on third down to take them off the field so you can't have any of those plays. No drops, no turnovers, and you're going to have to get some turnovers on defense. They got a team in the secondary that is handsy. They can get their hands on the football. They're second in the big 10 with, or excuse me, they're first in the big 10 and turnover the

game and 14 of those are interceptions right so they can they can create some chaos with the

passer for some throws and then they can make the plays on the back end so they're going to have to

utilize that they have to steal some possessions but it is it's going to be a tough task it's going to

be a long road to climb and they got to just be able to not beat themselves if they want a chance to beat Indiana.

Yeah, I mean, Steve's talking about a team in Maryland. They've got 14 interceptions on the season. They're one of the best turnover margin teams in America.

They've got youth. I mean, a lot of young players on defense. For those that haven't watched

Maryland and might be tuning in for the first time, tell everybody about the talent they have on

defense. Yeah, they got some good young talent, and it's led by the true freshmen,

and Zaire Mathis and Sidney Stewart. Those are the youngest of the bunch, but they could be

part of the top tier of the bunch, too. They're an issue they've had over the last couple weeks. They both haven't been on the field for their whole game. That starts with Washington. You mentioned the three losses they have. Well, Sidney Stewart got a targeting call with 10 seconds left in the half. That was kind of a bum call, but still nonetheless, they ejected him. So then they didn't have him for the second half, and they felt bad effects in that second half, especially in the fourth quarter, Zahier Mathis kind of on his own there to try to rush the passer. And then Zaire Mathis out for the UCLA game due to injury, I don't know the status of him yet, actually. So I'm hopefully hopeful that he'll be back tomorrow and then they just got to stay on

the field as long as they can as many plays as they can and then you got trey redick he's a sophomore

he's a young linebacker number three he runs around to make some big hits he's got to worry
