0:24.1	And June 17th is the anniversary of Notre Dame Baseball's 2002 comeback win over Rice at the College World Series in Omaha. The fighting average were
0:31.0	making their first college world series appearance in 45 years that season after bidding
0:36.1	top-ranked Florida State at their super
0:38.6	regionals a week before that.
0:40.6	And they lost their opening round college World Series game against Stanford once they got
0:44.7	to Omaha.
0:45.6	So the game on June 17th against Rice was an elimination game for both teams.
0:50.9	And Notre Dame trailed the game.
0:52.2	They were the home team.
0:53.0	They trailed three to two going into
0:54.9	their last at bat in the bottom of the ninth inning. The three key figures in that game for

1:13.2	the inning. We used some play-by-play. I should say I was the radio play-by-play announcer for Notre Dame
1:17.9	baseball at that time, did it for eight years, including that great season, 2002. And so we used
1:25.8	some of my play-by-play calls from that inning. And then the guys kind of
1:30.4	broke things down, almost pitch by pitch, not quite pitch by pitch, but out by out. And we went
