The United States stands on this Friday, January, the 16th, and an hour of crisis.

But the leader of the Senate Democrats, who wishes to be the majority leader, Chuck Schumer, doesn't see it.

This is the warning.

Does anybody believe that 15 years from now, 20 years from now,

30 years from now, in these crowded hours, that this will be remembered as the decisive issue?

In the weeks and months to come, the American people will also hear from Democrats

on our other, on other areas where we're fighting to lower costs. As I mentioned, food costs,

energy costs, groceries, health care, child care, and so many other things Americans pay for

every day. Democrats are ready to get to work.

The answer is of course not.

In order to appreciate how it is that there is Gestapo on the street shooting people,

abducting people, harassing people, demanding of American citizens, papers, please.

You have to recognize that none of it would have happened, but for the appeasement and fecklessness of Chuck Schumer, who said this.

And as I said, costs, the high cost of living,

the affordability crisis, will be our focus throughout 2026,

because that's what the American people are demanding.

And we will show how the Trump administration and Republicans

have made costs even worse,

and what Democrats will do when we get power to reduce those costs in a very significant way

that will affect every single American.
