Everyone always tells us we should reach across the aisle and talk to people who might not agree with us and build alliances and coalitions against fascism.

So here's Steve Schmidt of the warning.

A longtime Republican turned never Trump Republican, who does his best to eloquently speak out

against Donald Trump, the modern GOP, and the threat that MAGA represents to not just America,

but democracy all around the world. And Steve and I met briefly a few weeks ago during Donald

Trump's state of the whatever that nonsense was addressed in Washington, D.C., where we were part of Miles Taylor's State of the Swamp response.

And Steve approached me. I don't know if you remember this, Steve, and said, you know, you actually might agree on a lot more things than we disagree. I'd love to talk to you. So I'm taking you up on it. We have

no script as to what we're going to talk about, but we don't need a script when we're living in

the seventh circle of hell. And it's being written by Dante on meth. And earlier today,

Steve, Donald J. Trump wrote the following. And I know it's the first time on the left hook, so forgive me.

I have to do his stupid tweets in a stupid voice just so I don't normalize his inanity.

Donald Trump, the President of the United States, folks, on truth social.

A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be back again.

I don't want that to happen, Steve,

but it probably will. However, now that we have complete intolerant regime change,

where different, and less radicalized, minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful

can happen. Who knows? We will find out to it. One of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world.

47 years of extortion, corruption, and death would finally end.
