Try and take in the full majesty of its disgrace.

The selfishness. The total lack of awareness. This soft-handed boy who grew into such a rotten man,

a grifter, a fraud who ran fake charities, a low man who has never given

anything to anyone at any moment ever. He is a taker's son who has become a taker. The Trump family is a disgrace. What they are is a conspiracy that is

tearing at America's civilization, at our connection to one another as a country, as a people,

as a civilization. It is the 28th of May, 24, 161 days remain until the American people

decide who sits in the Oval Office of the White House. This is the warning.

Memorial Day weekend, originally known as Decoration Day, is distinct from Veterans Day.

In November, we honor everybody who has served in the armed forces of the United States.

That day that we celebrate November the 11th, all over the world, is called by another name, Armistice Day.

It denotes the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour when the war to end all wars

came to an end, the First World War, a Holocaust, an apocalypse of death. It was an earth-shattering and unprecedented event in human civilization

to be eclipsed just within one generation. Memorial Day honors America's war dead,

one million fallen, who gave the ultimate sacrifice to their nation,

what Abraham Lincoln so eloquently called the last full measure of devotion.

Each Memorial Day, because of the proximity of our recent wars in the Middle East and Iraq and Afghanistan,

Memorial Day is a heartbreaking day. The 20 years-long wars left families without their mothers and fathers, spouses without their husbands

and wives. This is a day each year where the President of the United States comes to one of the most sacred spaces in our Republic,
