0:14.1	The thinking is if the campaign concedes what every other person around it knows to be true,

1:03.8	their rationales for victory are deeply linked. They're interconnected. Chris Christie is betting
1:10.5	that he can beat Donald Trump in New Hampshire.
1:13.9	In order for that to happen for Chris Christie, he needs Tim Scott to win in Iowa. If Tim Scott
1:21.2	can win in Iowa and Chris Christie can beat Trump in New Hampshire. That means heading into South Carolina,
1:30.0	the Republican frontrunner, Trump, will have gone 0 for two. And if that happens,
1:36.4	Tim Scott can absolutely win the South Carolina primary, meaning Trump will be 0 for three.
1:43.4	Trump's strength in the Republican primary is largely illusory.
1:47.5	It's built on the idea that he's inevitable because he's unbeatable.
1:52.7	But all of that collapses and fades away if he's beaten.
1:57.2	What Trump has going for him right now is that once again, there is a stage full of Republican
2:03.7	candidates who have no chance whatsoever of being the Republican nominee.
2:09.2	They're a mix of gadflies and dilettons like Vivek Ramoswamy, Nikki Haley, and Mike Pence.
